Logo Design Process
When you're looking for a graphics artist to design your custom logo you need to know a few things to look for and how to determine if that artist is right for you. We have a set of standard questions that you should ask your designer.
Is the logo design the artist is providing vector?
You need a vector logo design so you will have the option of scaling it to any size you
want and can be used all on print material. You should also get web formats such as jpg, gif, png for word documents, email invoice or newsletter and web purposes.
What software are you using to create a logo?
The industry standard is Adobe Illustrator.
What file formats will you provide?
Jpg, Png, Gif files are for web purposes. These file types can be used on the internet, emails, word documents and others.
AI, EPS, PDF, TIF formats are for printing purposes. These are the file types you will need to take to the print studio. AI, EPS, PDF files are vector formats.
How many redraw / revisions do you get?
We believe the artist should work until the client is happy. It is unfair to limit a client from getting the perfect logo.
How long have you been designing logos?
Most designers will tell you 10 - 20 years, but honestly look at their quality. Does it compare to ours? Is it better? Have you seen anything like it before somewhere else? Don't take the chance of choosing the wrong designer.
Make sure they have an extensive portfolio showing off their styles, quality & creative ideas.
A real logo design is simple. No need to clutter it or animate it. We have a lot of cartoon style logos in our portfolio however we design it all.
